I’m Dr. Laura Lee, founder of NeuroAligned College Advising.
This isn’t just a job—it’s a reflection of my deeply held belief in the power of education to change the course of a life.
Education is one of the few assets that, once earned, can never be taken away. It equips people with options and provides stability, regardless of changing circumstances. With the right support and the right environment, neurodivergent students don’t just adapt; they thrive. And when their differences are recognized and valued, they become genuine strengths.
About Me
I am an educational psychologist with nearly two decades of experience supporting neurodivergent students across educational, clinical, higher education, and federal systems. Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of disability, policy, research, advising, and teaching.
I focus my skills on coaching neurodivergent college students, helping them build self-advocacy skills, develop a strong sense of identity, and grow executive functioning strategies that support long-term independence— not short-term fixes.
My professional expertise is complemented by lived experience as a parent of a child with ADHD, giving me firsthand insight into the realities of IEPs, 504 plans, and the emotional roller-coaster families face when supports shift or disappear. I feel privileged to join students on their educational journeys and celebrate their successes.
A Simple Idea:
Offer families a thoughtful, evidence-informed, and personalized approach to bridge the gap between secondary education and college life.
