Frequently Asked Questions

  • What services do you need?

Seriously, my services are tailor-made for each student because individualized attention is the foundation of this business. Check out the different support levels on the “Services” page, but keep in mind that they can be modified to best suit your child’s needs. Some students partner with me as early as 9th grade, for support throughout high school, while others have finished college and want assistance finding the right graduate school. I can help with identifying best-fit colleges, the application and financial aid process, find scholarships, practice interviewing, support schedule planning and study strategies, advise on interpersonal relationships, explain accommodations and how to receive them, provide regular check-ins, and much more.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form or schedule a call—I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • My expertise uniquely positions me to support neurodivergent students through every step of the process of finding, applying, enrolling, thriving, and graduating college. While most college advisors or guidance counselors juggle hundreds of students and might point them in a direction, I accompany students and help them not only identify a path but stay on it. Less than half of full-time neurotypical students who enroll in college persist and graduate in four years; for neurodivergent students, that graduation rate is 16% (2011 National Longitudinal Transition Study). These outcomes are not due to a lack of ability or aptitude. With the right placement and proper support, there is no reason that graduation rate can’t be 100%.

  • Although I do have experience working as a psychological examiner, I am not currently licensed to provide diagnoses.

It is not usual for people to “get by” in school and not receive an official diagnosis until adulthood for ADHD or ASD. And no, I don’t require that my clients have received a diagnosis; if you believe I can help your student, I am happy to be of service. However, without a diagnosis and documentation of such, students are not able to receive accommodations in college, and these can make a huge difference in reaching their full potential.

  • I offer several price plans based on the level of support your student needs. After an initial conversation, I’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs. If you discover, after choosing a support level, you need more services, your initial investment will be applied towards the enhanced service package.

Please remember, my goal for your student is not only academic success, but also social, emotional, behavioral, and “adulting” success, and a holistic approach is the best way to achieve this. I do not offer “`a la carte” services; if you only want interview practice, for instance, you can find someone who specializes in only that.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. I take the time to understand how each student learns, thinks, and manages daily demands— not just where they want to go to college, but what they need to succeed once they’re there.

I provide clear guidance, structure, and evidence-based strategies while also creating space for students to develop their own voice, confidence, and self-advocacy skills. Parents are included in the process with the goal of gradually shifting responsibility to the student as readiness grows.

The ultimate goal isn’t just college admission— it’s independence. Students leave this process with insight into how they learn and strategies they can use for a lifetime.
