The Advising Process

I. Assessment & Understanding

The goal is to develop a deep understanding of the student as a learner and as a person. Together, we identify strengths, challenges, readiness factors, and environmental supports that will matter most for college success.

II. Strategic Planning

Using assessment insights, we co-create a tailored , realistic, individualized roadmap for college selection and preparation.

III. Individualized, Responsive Guidance

Coaching focuses on building self-advocacy and independent decision-making, while remaining flexible to student needs and feedback.

IV. Deliverables & Transition Support

Planning is translated into clear written summaries, college profiles, transition plans, and next steps, while supporting the student through final decisions and early transition as needed.

What parents say…

  • "For the first time, we felt like someone truly understood our child-- not just academically, but as a whole person."

  • "We were drowning in choices, deadlines and uncertainty. The personalized support we received made all the difference. We are endlessly grateful."

  • "We had toured campuses and spoken to counselors, but no one was looking at who our daughter is and how she learns. Our daughter had been misunderstood for most of her academic life, and we didn't want college to repeat that pattern. Watching her grow in confidence has been the greatest gift."

  • "For years, we worried if college would ever work for our son. The support we received brought clarity and reassurance. Today, he is enrolled in a program where he feels safe and capable. We are beyond thankful."
